Indication
The most common indications for performing angiology examination.
- Suspicion of peripheral arterial disease
- Present peripheral arterial disease, conditions after endovascular or surgical vascular surgeries
- Chronic venous disease of the lower extremities from the lightest to the most severe stages with present defects (varicose ulcers)
- Caring for patients with present or incipient venous disease during pregnancy
- Suspicion of deep vein thrombosis, superficial phlebitis
- Outpatient treatment of deep vein thrombosis
- Pain in lower extremities of unknown etiology
- Paraesthesia of upper and lower extremities
- Swelling of the extremities, skin changes of unclear etiology
- Examination of present varices (varicose veins), indication for surgical or conservative treatment
