Indication

The most common indications for performing angiology examination.

• Suspicion of peripheral arterial disease
• Present peripheral arterial disease, conditions after endovascular or surgical vascular surgeries
• Chronic venous disease of the lower extremities from the lightest to the most severe stages with present defects (varicose ulcers)
• Caring for patients with present or incipient venous disease during pregnancy
• Suspicion of deep vein thrombosis, superficial phlebitis
• Outpatient treatment of deep vein thrombosis
• Pain in lower extremities of unknown etiology
• Paraesthesia of upper and lower extremities
• Swelling of the extremities, skin changes of unclear etiology
• Examination of present varices (varicose veins), indication for surgical or conservative treatment
